Overview

As a North American Trainer, you will have the opportunity to develop various levels of professionals, including new hires, business development, support functions and others within our global organization. You will work closely with the HR team to implement best practices for our company.

Responsibilities

  • Train & develop leaders, managers, and employees across the organization
  • Assess needs organizationally, regionally, and locally
  • Leverage both asynchronous and synchronous modalities in deploying learning
  • Design new programs, including flipped classroom and blended learning, in partnership with instructional designer
  • Work with external partners to find and deploy content
  • Partner with Global Director of Learning & Development and US, CA and UK learning team members to build out robust learning and development capabilities across the organization, with a primary but not exclusive focus on North America
  • Exhibit the business-specific skills necessary to train in a wide range of departments
  • Instruct on a variety of content, engage learners, and manage training environments with full confidence and preparation
  • Lead L&D programs and projects, both new and ongoing
  • Recommend improvements and/or enhancements to programs when necessary

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of training experience in diverse corporate settings
  • Proficiency providing instruction, engaging learners and managing the training environment
  • Exposure to education and training methods, practices, and technologies
  • Understanding of adult learning theory
  • Experience with instructional design preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail in the creation and iteration of work
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and storytelling skills
  • Ability to see the big picture among great levels of details
  • CPTD or APTD preferred, but not necessary
