The following DLs have been on the move with promotions or new roles:

Acacia Ashick recently started in a new role of Project Management – Special Projects, at Pomerleau. The Special Projects team is a new division of Pomerleau only starting in Summer 2024.

Karan Balachandar recently joined the BGO Investment Management team as Vice President, reporting to Marshall Elliott. Before joining BGO, Karan was a key member of TD Securities’ Real Estate Investment Banking team.

Hamza Chatila has been recently promoted to an Associate position at Osmington Gerofsky Development Corp. (OGDC).

John Coates recently started a new role as an Analyst, Real Estate Investment Banking at TD Securities.

Joshua Culmone started a new role, in December 2024, as an Analyst on the Asset Management team at Tricon Residential.

Shawn Hulshof is approaching the one-year mark in his role in Business Development at Bennett Design. After making a career change, working previously as a professional hockey player, he’s been enjoying diving into an entirely new industry, both an exciting and daunting task.

Kabil Kittuppanantharajah was recently promoted to Senior Associate at Fengate.

Catherine Price recently received a promotion to Associate Vice President, Investments at Fengate.

Cindy Rendon was promoted, in February 2025, to Associate Analyst in Commercial Financing at First National Financial LP, joining a team that specializes in multifamily rental construction financing under the leadership of Henry Chung. In this role on the origination team, she will focus on business development strategy, marketing, and team branding to drive growth and enhance market presence.

Angela Taran was recently promoted to Account Manager within the TD National Real Estate Group.

Graeme White has been promoted to Senior Associate within Avison Young’s Capital Markets Investment team. This recognition reflects his strong performance, commitment to growth, and dedication to helping clients achieve their investment goals.

The following DLs were involved in a Zoning Milestone or Lease/Investment Deal:

Hamza Chatila, Osmington Gerofsky Development Corp.
Hamza and his team have successfully rezoned their project at 7 St Dennis and 10 Grenoble passed at City Council in December 2024 and received bills at City Council in February’s City Council session. The site consists of 4 towers between 40-53 Storeys, 2536 units, and 1.5 million square feet of residential GFA.

Anmol Dhalla, Colliers

As a Senior Broker, Anmol was a part of the Colliers team that recently sold 2000 Argentia Rd, Mississauga for $40.1 million representing the buyer.
