As a Partner on the Lee Chow Group team, Liam Sauro successfully completed a Joint Venture partnership with RioCan REIT for an assembly of income-producing properties for future development.
The properties make up the southwest corner of King & Sherbourne in Toronto’s historic downtown east including 241-247 King Street East and 42-46 Sherbourne Street. Once the remainder of the properties are acquired, the partnership has plans to build a hi-rise rental building that will be served by a completed Ontario Line project. In the interim, the properties benefit from a consistent income stream from high-quality long-term tenants including Ardo Restaurant, Trianon and Jardin De Ville.
Since starting a new role as a Sales Representative at Colliers, working alongside Nicholas Kendrew in investment sales, Natalie White recently closed with the team 689 Yonge a prime urban-retail opportunity at one of the most notable intersections in Toronto (Yonge and Bloor).
Natalie shares the impact and highlights of her experience: “Having the opportunity to work alongside Nicholas Kendrew at Colliers has been an invaluable privilege. I am learning something new every day from an incredibly knowledgeable and supportive mentor.
As the first deal that we worked on as a team, there was no shortage of learning across all the moving parts of the deal. Some highlights: assisting in transaction support and execution, analysis of comparable sales, managing expectations on both sides of the table to achieve mutual success, observing Nick’s interactions with buyers and sellers, and witnessing and assisting with the intricate details and diligent efforts involved in bringing a real estate transaction to fruition.”
