Events Cancellation Policy


NAIOP Greater Toronto Chapter respectfully requests that members treat registrations at NAIOP events as you would any other business appointment. By advising us of your change of plans in a timely manner, you help others on a wait list have the opportunity to participate.

If a member receives an email-delivered no-show invoice (explained below), NAIOP now provides two convenient ways to pay the invoice electronocally:

1. Click the link within the email-delivered invoice for easy and immediate online payment with a major credit card;

2. Pay online when you register for the next event. When you log in to register for another NAIOP Greater Toronto event, the outstanding $25.00 + HST no-show fee will be added to the member price for the event.

for a FREE Event                              
         NAIOP Greater Toronto’s popular series of Breakfast events, plus Lunch & Learn and many social events are FREE for members, however, free for you does not mean free for NAIOP. The chapter incurs a food cost and administration cost with each registration. Therefore, if you find you cannot attend, it is important that you advise us in writing (email: brynne@torontonaiop.org) no later than 10:00 am on the day prior to an event. Your respect and consideration in this regard allows time for someone on the wait list to be contacted.
     
$25.00 Member 
No-show fee
   Failure by a member to provide advance notice of cancellation for a free event will automatically result in a $25.00 "no-show" fee invoiced to the individual. Please see the payment options above.  Invoices are delivered by email.
     
Please pick up your
Name Tag
  This is important to remember: when attending an event, be sure to pick up your name tag at the Event desk. If you do not, we won’t know you are there. An unclaimed name tag is counted as a no-show.

       Members and non-members please refer to the respective registration pages on the NAIOP Greater Toronto events website for the event-specific cancellation policies stated there. The advance notice required for cancellation and the window of availability for a refund may vary per event.
     
Non-members registered
for Breakfast and 
Lunch & Learn events                                                                               
 

Non-members who find they cannot attend should advise NAIOP in writing (email: brynne@torontonaiop.org) of their cancellation by 10:00 am, two (2) business days prior to the event. If notice is provided by this deadline, your payment will be fully refunded. After this deadline, the registration fee is non-refundable.
