NAIOP celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, honouring the achievements of the past and looking ahead to how it will continue to serve its members and the industry as we move forward.
In 1967, nine developers met in Philadelphia to focus on defeating a legislative issue impacting commercial real estate. Thus, the powerful organization that today is NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, was formed. WATCH THE VIDEO at www.naiop.org that traces the history of NAIOP.
Share your PREDICTIONS FOR THE FUTURE of commercial real estate, and be part of NAIOP’s "Reverse Time Capsule." Imagine it's the year 2042 (NAIOP's 75th anniversary) and describe what you think the future holds for CRE and NAIOP. No idea is out of bounds: what will office space look like? Will we live, work and have e-commerce fulfillment all in one building? What will autonomous vehicles do for our roads, parking and garages? How many chapters will NAIOP have, and how many members?
Your outlooks could be featured in NAIOP publications and predictions will be sealed in the Time Capsule at NAIOP’s annual conference, CRE.Converge, in Chicago, October 10-12, 2017.
