In June, NAIOP Greater Toronto’s annual Mentorship Program kicked into high gear. That’s when the session-booking process began and participating Developing Leaders (mentees) began selecting meeting dates with mentors. To help broaden the learning experience and mentees’ industry connections, each session is booked with a different mentor.
The chapter conducts the Mentorship Program to provide Developing Leader members with valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth through focused, one-on-one networking sessions with leaders in the commercial real estate community.
For the 2017 program, participation reached new heights: 104 mentors and 213 mentees!
Mentorship is offered as a benefit of membership with the association. Developing Leaders are invited to register and participate as mentees. The program helps DLs gain truly valuable insights on career paths they are following or may be considering.
NAIOP Greater Toronto sincerely thanks the mentors for their generous commitment of time to the Mentorship Program. Many of these senior and senior-intermediate commercial real estate professionals participate year after year. They report how they enjoy the exchange with a new generation of future leaders, and welcome the opportunity to give back to the industry by sharing their knowledge.
